QuantumX (“we”, “us”) provides a visual quantum circuit simulator and related hosted simulation services at quantumx.co and linked application domains. We do not operate a physical quantum processing unit (QPU). This policy explains what data we collect and why.

Data we collect

• Account data — email, name, authentication identifiers from our auth provider.
• Product data — saved circuits, job metadata, plan entitlements, API key labels (not raw secret material after issuance).
• Usage data — job sizes, GPU-second consumption, feature usage needed for billing and abuse prevention.
• Technical logs — IP address, user agent, approximate location derived from IP, error logs.
• Communications — support messages you send us.

How we use data

• Provide and secure the simulator, demos, and hosted jobs
• Authenticate users and enforce plan limits
• Improve reliability, documentation, and educational content
• Meet legal obligations and prevent abuse

Sharing

We use processors for hosting, authentication, email, and analytics. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect the service and its users.

Retention

Account and circuit data are retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for backups, disputes, and legal requirements. Logs are retained for shorter operational windows.

Your choices

You may access or update account profile fields in the app, request deletion subject to legal holds, and manage non-essential cookies where a control is offered. Contact privacy@quantumx.co (or your operator contact) for requests.

Children

The service is not directed at children under 16. If you believe a child provided personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date on this page.
